When a candle is lit, watching and enjoying it is great. As it dims, the light flickers until the light is no more. This is the same way in starting a task, newly formed relationships, job starts, etc. You are hyped, on 10, ready to go! Then, as time goes on, interest fades, the once brightly shone light is a mere skeleton of its former luster! The sheen is gone…and all that remains are the ash of what was.
