Ever heard the phrase, “what’s mine is yours and what’s yours is mine?” There hasn’t likely ever been a falser statement made. Why? People do not like to share. We see this with toddlers all the time. They are being shown the effectiveness of sharing. They didn’t do it then, and certainly will not make that a part of their routine as adults. The reason most individuals don’t want to share is simple. My mom put it very plain. “You’re so scared someone will have more than you”. Dividing is the award that rewards! Give a little…a lot will come back!
