We’ve heard a number of individuals speak about the difference between hearing and listening. I can recall having a conversation with someone many years ago, and them saying, “you hear me?’ I replied, “I’m listening”. They responded, “but do you hear me?” The words faded to darkness in my mind. Over the years those words have come into my minds frontal view. Are we truly listening to one another? We discern words/sounds, however; are we receiving and comprehending those very words? You feel me?
