When someone’s behavior shifted in the slightest back in the day, people would say, “why you acting all brand new?” That was viewed as shady, fake or out of character. We would respond, “nah, I’m the same”. We were afraid of our new-found brand development! At that moment we made it a point to be as close to our “old self” as possible, so as not to ruffle any feathers! We weren’t ready. Get and stay ready!
