Social media truly has people confused. We want others to know everything we are doing (and of course all the fun we’re having). The things we make public are often an illusion of the fizzled bliss that is our actual lives. I was listening to the radio one day, and people were calling in in response to captions posted vs. their “real life”. Even though there was some laughter, it was truly heartbreaking. So many live a facade online, while being saddened by their authentic experiences. Individuals are keeping up with the Joneses virtually…wow!
