What is it about truth, y’all? “Truth be told”, “to be honest”, “the truth, the whole truth and nothing but…” and more, lol. The truth reveals. We are so very afraid of candor. Individuals view honesty as brutality. To be frank, it often is. What is the problem with that? People say, ” I didn’t want to hurt their feelings” when justifying dishonesty. They believe they are doing the other person a ‘solid‘ by omitting or expanding the truth. Let’s call “a thing a thing”. Within our so-called truth, the lies are unveiled. This same hurt we did not intend to cause has become the brokenness, disconnect and suffering that eternally scars! You see-that facet truth pain is brief; however, the buried lies will emerge and torment decades later!
